I have a unique perspective and relationship with Dr. Turner. Bob placed me as President of a multinational manufacturing company. During the recruiting process, Dr. Turner was dogmatic in his due diligence on the company to insure it was a good fit with my experience and background. Over the last several of years, I have enjoyed a business relationship with Bob Turner and North American Recruiting and Consulting. Our company utilizes Bob as one of our sole recruiting sources for managerial candidates. Bob does an excellent job of pre-screening his candidates prior to sending them to us for consideration. Many recruiters only pass resumes on to a company, but Bob exercises due diligence in insuring that a candidate meets or exceeds our company’s high standards prior to sending them to us. He then took the additional step in creating a questionnaire for an HR Director search that explored potential candidates abilities and how they matched up with the job specifications, so that we got a qualified professional and one that fit our culture.
I have had the opportunity to work with Dr. Bob Turner of North American Recruiting and Consulting and wanted to share my impressions of our relationship and how it developed.I first met Bob in 2007 shortly after I accepted the position as Director of Human Resources at TieTek in Marshall, Texas and presently I am in another Director of HR position in Texas. In my position, I receive many calls from search firms, but rarely from someone who has backed up his words with actions in the way Bob does. He had done his homework on our company, taking the time to understand what we do and even what some of our needs might be before we ever met.His interest was in our business and to understand us in order to see how he might be of assistance to us in the future. He came out to our manufacturing facility and met with myself as well as the CEO of the Company to understand what exactly we were looking for. He wanted to develop an understanding of our culture and how this new person would integrate into the organization. We hired an engineer he submitted and Bob has been involved in additional professional searches since then and has been successful in finding the right professionals for us.
