Client Overview

Our Client is a consulting engineering/architectural firm founded in the 70’s inTexas. Their firm has grown to include over 160 employees in 12 offices throughout Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma, and a construction subsidiary. They provide engineering, architectural, planning, surveying and consulting services on a wide variety of projects for governmental and private enterprises. They have also been honored with inclusion in the ENR Top 500 for the last six years and won top 100 Best Companies to Work for in Texas for 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017.

Position Summary

This position will be responsible for the design and management of a wide variety of development projects including commercial and residential land development projects throughout the state of Texas.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who has the willingness and ability to strengthen and develop relationships with clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited university degree program.

  • Minimum five years of experience as a licensed professional engineer including platting and permitting, development of plans and specifications, and construction administration on commercial and residential land development projects.

  • Experience developing plans in Civil3D.

  • Extensive experience with the design of site grading, streets, drainage, water, sewer, and detention facilities.

  • P.E. License in Texas.

  • Experience interfacing with clients and municipal staff on a regular basis.

Qualifications

  • Must be currently working in the McKinney market

  • Must have current contacts in the market

  • Must have at least the most recent several years in the LD market

Compensation

This position is eligible for their Bonus Plan. The Base Salary will be, DOE, between $110 – 130K (could be more for the “perfect” candidate). They have an overall Excellent Benefits Package.
