Our Client is a consulting engineering/architectural firm founded in the 70’s inTexas. Their firm has grown to include over 160 employees in 12 offices throughout Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma, and a construction subsidiary. They provide engineering, architectural, planning, surveying and consulting services on a wide variety of projects for governmental and private enterprises. Position Summary

The RPLS is expected to manage a staff of field crews & technicians and manage the day to day survey work assigned to that office. Coordination with in-house or outside engineering and architectural personnel, clients, and others concerned with the project is an important aspect of responsibility. Finally, the ideal candidate will market to new clients bringing in new business and maintain existing client relationships.


  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an RPLS.

  • Must be registered as an RPLS in the state of Texas.

  • Registration in Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Louisiana preferred, but not required.

  • Prior business development experience is a plus.


  • Must be a registered RPLS in the State of Texas (or NM if located in Carlsbad)

  • Diverse experience doing private development, municipal, etc. for Austin

  • Must have contacts in the market that they will work

  • Must have business development initiative


This position is eligible for their Bonus Plan. The Base Salary will be, DOE, between $90 – 100K. They have an overall Excellent Benefits Package.
