Our Client is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Project Engineer to join their South Houston/Galveston, Texas, office. This position manages moderate to highly complex geotechnical projects by providing technical expertise required to exceed client expectations.


  • Develop and maintain internal and external client relationships, including project and non-project related face-to-face meetings

  • Leadership of a technical or project related team and provide work direction and mentor/train Junior staff

  • Prepare proposals for moderate to complex projects

  • Develop and execute whole scopes, and prepare engineering reports giving professional opinions and practical geotechnical solutions

  • Manage projects (scope, schedule, budget)

  • Perform engineering analysis using company and industry methodologies and standards

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BS) in Geotechnical or Geological or Environmental or Civil Engineering degree required; If the degree is in Civil Engineering you have to have Geotechnical experience

  • Master's degree (MS) in Geotechnical or Geological or Environmental or Civil Engineering preferred

  • Seven or more years of Geotechnical/Civil Engineering experience—A MUST HAVE

  • Develop internal and external client relationships, prepare proposals, Project management

  • Professional Engineer registration/licensure in TX, or ability to attain within 6 months

  • Ability to life up to 30 to 50 pounds on a periodic basis

  • Full Microsoft Office Suite knowledge and experience

  • “Ideal” if you have Experience with DOT, bridges, buildings, road beds


Base salary between $90,000 to $115,000; Equity Opportunity in Company; Exceptional Benefits:  medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plan, ESOP, PTO, and paid holidays.
