Supply Chain Specialist - CRT1068
Our Client was founded in 1992 and is a full line manufacturer of pressure pipe fittings from ½” to 65” pipe sizes with pressures up to 320 psi and lower pressure pipes up to 120” in diameter. They also offer electrofusion fittings which are specifically designed for reliable, high performance pipe joining and long system life. This automated system has been proven to be most economical due to the low potential for operator error. Their customers are distributors to industry, municipalities and commercial enterprises worldwide.
Under general supervision of supply chain manager, performs a variety of supply chain related duties. The successful candidate for this position has experience in the manufacturing industry and an understanding of basic supply chain management concepts.
Working closely with manufacturing and engineering to assist production manager to generate routing and work order.
Work closely with Manufacturing, Shipping, Purchasing, Sales and other functions to insure SKU item master in ERP system is accurate and update item master information in timely.
Assist purchasing activities. Issue PO with preset pricing for MRO.
Generate drop ship order using preset parameters.
Undertake various projects to optimize the supply chain.
Additional related duties as assigned
BacheEducational attainment equivalent to Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management OR related field. Associate degree or GED accepted for people with right skill set.
1 to 3 years of experience involving inventory control, purchasing and materials management work using computerized databases preferred. Experience working in a manufacturing environment and/or distribution center a plus.
Any type of ERP experience preferred, especially literacy with computerized inventory control systems, MRP and BOMs.
Knowledge of MS Office Suites. In particular, strong Excel skills including the ability to create complex spreadsheets.
Organizational and time management skills
Excellent written & oral communication skills
A legal authorization to work in the United States is a must for this US based position.
Base Salary, DOE, is $45-55 K
